HIV drugs are effective in decreasing the viral cell counts in the body and improve the immune system’s ability to fight off infections. These medications help to improve the quality of life by reducing chances of contracting infections. These do not cure the HIV infection fully or reduce your chances of spreading the infection in any way. Major categories of HIV/AIDS drugs are:
