Description
Duovir contains a combination of two potent antiviral drugs Lamivudine and Zidovudine. Duovir stops the HIV cells from multiplying and spreading in your body and increasing the CD4 cell counts in the body. Lamivudine is a nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor. This drug does not cure HIV completely but prevents it from deteriorating into AIDS and the patient from acquiring HIV related infections.
