Description
Casodex Bicalutamide 50 mg Tablets are “anti-androgens” It works against Androgens or male hormones and block the effect of Testosterone.It is used in conjunction with “LHRH agonist hormone therapy”. Since with this therapy, amount of Testosterone in blood is reduced, the cancer of the cells dependent on this hormone is markedly reduced.
Uses
Casodex Bicalutamide 50 mg Tablets are used for treating advanced stages of Prostate cancer in men.It is most commonly used in stage D2 prostate cancer and when there is evidence of metastasis.

- Hot flashes
- Back ache
- Pelvis and stomach ache
- Swelling of extremities
- Increased nocturnal urination

- Aching or inflammation in breasts
- Fever and chills
- Passage of blood in urine
- Pain or Discomfort in chest
- Dry cough
- Difficulty in breathing
- Signs of anaemia
- Signs of liver damage like Jaundice and Icterus
- Signs of increased blood sugar
