Description

Xgeva Denosumab Injection works by RANK ligand (RANKL) inhibitor. This drug is a relatively newly introduced type of therapy in cancer treatment that is called Monoclonal antibody therapy. Xgeva Denosumab Injection targets only specific cancer cells and therefore, happens to protect the healthy cells in the body.

Uses

Xgeva Denosumab Injection is a bone protective medicine. This helps in preventing bone fractures and skeletal problems in people suffering from tumors that have managed to spread to the patient’s bone.
Xgeva Denosumab Injection is used for treating Giant cell bone tumors in people with fully matured bone structure. It also helps to monitor level of Calcium in the blood stream that might get abnormally high due to spreading of cancer to bone.
